Ami, great article on the importance on such subtleties as design metaphors for a better user experience! I've a question on the decision and psychology behind the "last seen" status feature. I'd argue that it is a bittersweet experience - one that can send across multiple messages and from my research tends to lean towards a more negative one depending on the depth this status has been perceived by that human mind given the situation. Why did the team decide to roll out this feature?
